Join us at Ed. as we welcome the Lunar New Year with two vibrant experiences for the whole family—get creative with a hands-on kids workshop, then soak up the colour and excitement of a traditional Lion Dance performance through the centre.

Ed.Jnr Lunar New Year Workshop: Chinese Lantern Making

Bring the kids along for a fun, festive activity where they can create their very own Lunar New Year lantern to take home. Our Ed.Jnr Chinese Lantern Making Workshop is the perfect way to add a little creativity to your day out at the centre.

Lunar New Year Lion Dance Performances

Experience the energy, rhythm and colour of a traditional Lion Dance as we welcome prosperity and good fortune for the year ahead. Beginning in Eat Street Courtyard, the performance will travel throughout the centre—so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to catch the action as it moves across North Mall, South Mall and Eat Street.
