New café coming to game-changing community in Sydney’s south west
Lidya Maim and her husband Max were looking to start their first food business when the opportunity at Frasers Property Australia’s game-changing community Ed.Square came up at exactly the right time.

“We have always wanted to open a business - whether it be our own or a franchise. I joined The Shed Group three years ago and I just grew to love the brand,” says Lidya.
“My husband and I had a chat and I said ‘I think this is the right business for us’ and the location became available at Ed.Square. That’s how we started this journey.”

Growing up in Sydney’s south west, the couple see the potential and a need for fresh food offerings in the area.

“Ed.Square is a modern community. It is going to cater to a lot of people and a lot of needs. It brings a lot of facilities to the area that have been needed for so long and we would like to be a part of it. The Shed and Ed Square are a perfect match” Max says.

Apart from breakfast and lunch staples like  bacon and egg rolls , breakfast bowls, and a variety of salads and sliders, The Shed at Ed.Square will also serve a wide selection of homemade European food and cakes, healthy snacks and great coffee.

“Coffee is very important to us. It’s the best coffee in town. We are very meticulous with our coffee, and consistently great coffee is the cornerstone of success for The Shed,” Lidya says.

“The Shed is all about its customers so our menu will be fresh and modern and cater for everyone. We will have high protein meals for gym-goers, something for the kids, and homemade specialty cakes for people who have a sweet tooth. We would like to cater not just for individuals but also for groups, so there will also be sharing platters on our menu too.

“I would also like to put a European spin on our menu, with fresh tasty food that you can’t find anywhere else, that I simply can’t wait to share with the community.”
