Welcome Ignite Early Learning Centre
A specialist architect-designed state of the art new childcare centre has opened its doors at Ed.Square Town Centre.
Ignite Early Learning Centre welcomed children aged two to six to the centre on 27 February 2023, with the staged opening due to continue in 2024 when children aged zero to two can join the fun at the custom-designed centre.
The centre will eventually educate 140 children in its premises and features a cafe and servery, baby and children's gym, indoor and outdoor learning zones and uses a campus style design framework with themed rooms including Fantasy Land for dramatic play, Safari Land for learning about flora and fauna, Zen Land for relaxing and calming, Learning Land for exploring the building blocks of education such as numbers and the alphabet, and Yummy Land, designed to develop enthusiasm and understanding of food.
Fresh meals created by a nutritionist are served to the children daily, including the option of a dinner service.
Ignite's own Baby Flex classes are also on offer. Held after hours four times a week, these classes teach children aged six months - six years physical and movement skills as well as teamwork and persistence, through a range of age-appropriate activities.
